The design emphasis has been placed on producing a 6x strong treble hook that is lighter in weight yet extremely strong and maximizes penetration, hook-up ratios and holding power.
To reduce the overall weight of the hook and to make it stay closer to the lure BKK shortened the welded section of the treble. This allows the angler to fish a comparatively larger hook size on the lure, maximizing point exposure and hook-up ratio, without adversely affecting the intended swimming action of the lure.
